New [Temporary] Face Cream

I just ran out of my regular face cream (from the Vitamin E line at The Body Shop.. but I'm in the market for a new one), and I needed a replacement STAT.  I grabbed one of the first decent ones I could find at CVS and ran with it.  [Not literally, of course.  I don't particularly enjoy running.]

I went with the Olay Complete All Day Moisture Cream.  It has an SPF and seemed to be the most "normal" that I could find (as opposed to a night cream, anti-wrinkle cream, etc.).  I don't hate it but I don't love it.

The consistency is that of sour cream -- I'm serious!  It reminds me exactly of sour cream.  And from what I can tell, it does its job.  It felt moisturizing on my hand, and made it a tad softer after I applied it and rubbed it in.

What I don't particularly enjoy is the smell.  It is very reminiscent of baby powder or the way a grandmother's house smells.  When I'm buying face creams or moisturizers, I generally stay away from anything scented.  I don't like the alcohols and chemicals that come with scented face products.  Plus, I just don't want my face smelling like a baby's butt all day.

This'll do until I can get myself to Sephora or Ulta -- and it does moisturize -- but the scent is enough to turn me away when I find a solid replacement.
