DIY Vanilla Salt Scrub Exfoliator!

Exfoliating is an essential step to glowing summer skin!

Making your own salt scrub for beautifully smooth and radiant skin is so easy you have probably never even thought of it before!  My own DIY version only requires a jar and three ingredients.  Three!  And I bet you have them in your pantry as I speak.

Junicorn's DIY Vanilla Salt Scrub

Requirements:
1 small jar
Coarse salt (I had Kosher on hand)
Olive Oil
Pure Vanilla Extract

How To:

1] Pour a small amount of olive oil into the jar (I used about 1/4 cup for this single-use batch).

2] Add the course salt to the oil until there is only a thin layer of oil coating the top of the salt (when it's mixed together -- you can do this simply by moving the jar around).

It should look like this
And this, when it is settled

3] Add a DROP of pure vanilla extract into the salt mixture -- and I mean only a small, tiny drop!

4] Slosh everything together in the jar.. and you're done!

It's seriously that easy to make.  Just store it in your bathroom and use it pretty quick, because you don't want it to get too old.  This also makes adorable DIY gifts for holidays and birthdays -- fill the scrub to the top of the jar, add a lid, tie a ribbon around the top with a little gift tag, and use a fabric marker to decorate the outside of the jar!

Use this just as you would in my Exfoliating post, and you're on your way to gorgeous legs for days!!
