"Breakfast Smoothie"

If I could drink a smoothie every day for breakfast, I would.  But if your life is anything like mine, that time commitment is almost laughable.  Who has time to gather fresh ingredients and make a smoothie every morning? Not I.  (And if you're just that darn good at time management, I don't want to hear about it.)

Insert: Dole Fruit Smoothie Shakers.  They are amazing.  You find them in the frozen section of the grocery store with all of the frozen fruits.  Sure, I've tried the Jamba Juice smoothie packets -- but that also requires a blender and time/effort.  This product is the best time saver if you still want a smoothie but have better things to do in the morning before you head out the door.

All you do is pour juice into the container (I always use orange juice), replace the cap, and shake it until it is smooth.  It seriously tastes like a freshly made strawberry banana smoothie.

And it looks like one, too. There are actually chunks of fruit in it!  [This photo was snapped after I had thoroughly enjoyed about half of the smoothie. Apologies!]  And the frozen yogurt is delicious.  At only 190 calories, 17 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of fat per smoothie (for the whole thing!) it doesn't make you feel guilty.  The container itself is 4oz + 6.5oz of orange juice -- 10.5oz of breakfast smoothie for 190 cals.  How can you go wrong?

At only $1.50 per smoothie, you only spend $7.50 per week if you drink one every weekday morning.  Although I wouldn't recommend that, because it might get a little boring.  If you're a person who is going to go to Jamba Juice or Starbucks in the morning and buy a $5 cup of something anyway, try this for a week and see how you like it.  It's worth it!
